Anushka Sharma's production venture titled 'Phillauri' is set for a release this month and promotions for the same have been started. The makers have now released a video which tells Shashi’s tale before and after she became a spirit.

Shashi's life was as beautiful as many commoners with her family and friends around. She also had a special person in her life whom she loved more than anyone else. The universal concept of love cannot be changed through time, it remains constant throughout. While Shashi's life was complete with her people around, one incident changed her life and after several years she land insto a different world and in a different century, 2017.

She receives a pleasant shock to see that while people, families, friends and love have not changed, but the necessities and complications have been changed. She joins an entertaining family but as a spirit. She is now married to a man Kannan whose marriage is just round the corner. What follows is the funny trail of incidents between Shashi and the family.

'Phillauri' also stars Suraj Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh and Mehreen Pirazda in lead roles. It will release on March 24, 2017.
