(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Melissa McCarthy could spend "25 years" locked in the same room as her Bridesmaids co-stars.
The Mike & Molly star was named Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series at the Emmy Awards on Sunday.
Melissa has enjoyed a wealth of career success this year, having starred in the hit female comedy Bridesmaids alongside Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Rose Byrne.
The American actress loved making the Paul Feig-directed movie so much she is keen for a sequel.
"I hope so!" she gushed when asked if there will be a second Bridesmaids film made.
"I had such a great time with those women, and I would stay in a room with them for the next 25 years. I loved every second of that."
Melissa and her Bridesmaids co-stars are involved in a food poisoning storyline, which sees them projectile vomit.
The 41-year-old star has compared filming the "gross" scene to another film genre.
"We were trying to do [the food poison scene] like a segment in a horror movie," she explained. "It was less about being gross."
Melissa is thrilled with her recent success in film and TV.
The comedienne feels lucky to be blessed with such a fun and enjoyable career.
"I'm trying to take it all in," she mused in an interview with E! Online.
"You hope you get a job, you hope you do a good job and that you really, really love what you're doing. I think everyone's done jobs where they're like, well it's a pay check, but I can't wait to go to work." (C) Cover Media
