(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ashlee Simpson has met her new boyfriend's parents.

The singer-and-actress has been dating Vincent Piazza for several weeks. They officially stepped out together for the first time at the season two premiere of Vincent's television show Boardwalk Empire earlier this month.

Since then the pair have been virtually inseparable. They attended the Emmy Awards together on Sunday night, and after the ceremony enjoyed a double date with Vincent's parents.

The group attended a special HBO event at the Pacific Design Center's Plaza, where they shared a meal together.

"When they weren't chatting with Piazza's parents, the two held hands and stole kisses throughout the night," reports People magazine.

Ashlee stunned in a red sequinned gown with a plunging neckline, while Vincent opted for a standard suit. The pair seemed very happy in each other's company, with Ashlee regularly spotted touching her beau's face and snuggling into him.

Vincent is Lucky Luciano in the American drama series, which won Martin Scorsese a best director award on Sunday night.

He recently admitted he's finding the media interest in his romance with Ashlee difficult to handle, although he's trying to get used to it.

"It's been...whatever, I guess it's an occupational hazard," he said. "[But] yeah, [I'm] having a great time. Just wrapped season two, so I'm starting to enjoy the hiatus."
