(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Michael Fassbender believes "timing is everything".
The Shame star has opened up about where life has taken him during his career so far. The actor feels lucky that he has experienced so much success.
"Sometimes you do think, Is life mapped out?' All these little things have this domino effect knock one over and you reach this one over here," he told UK magazine Elle.
"Timing is everything, just being in the right place at the right time. But you can't think too much about it; you can't start thinking, Why was I born here?'"
Michael has gone from strength to strength with roles in Inglourious Basterds, A Dangerous Method and Shame. He will next be seen in Prometheus and is filming Twelve Years a Slave and The Counselor.
"You're trying to learn and improve all the time," he said.
"When you think you've cracked it, you're either deluding yourself or it's time to do something else."
Michael began acting when he was in high school. He recalls the moment he decided he wanted to pursue his love of performing.
"I was 17. I didn't know what I was going to do and I did two of the lessons," he said.
"I was like, This feels right. I think I can be good at this.' And that was that; I went hell for leather." (C) Cover Media
