Michael Jackson scared of shows

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - It has been alleged that Michael Jackson feared he would end up working at a fast-food restaurant if he didnt perform his 2009 comeback shows.

The pop icon tragically passed away on June 25 2009 at the age of 50 after suffering acute Propofol intoxication, with his death coming as a huge shock to his millions of fans across the globe.

The stars untimely death was especially poignant as he had been planning a series of live shows entitled This Is It, which were set to commence in London, England in July 2009 and were to be funded by concert promoter AEG.

It had previously been reported that Michael had been anxious about the concerts, with claims suggesting he had felt pressurised into the performances over financial woes. In interviews obtained by website TMZ it has now been alleged the singer was so worried about his finances that he even feared he would end up working for a burger chain.

"He was scared to death because AEG was funding everything. He said he would have to work at McDonalds if he didn't do these shows," Michaels hairstylist Karen Faye reportedly told LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) detectives just days after the pop icon passed away.

The hairdresser also alleges Michael had been so nervous about the massive scale of the 50 shows he was due to star in that he had been self-sabotaging with drugs. She had noticed the singers weight loss and apparently had concerns for his psychological state. (C) Cover Media
