Michael Sorrentino: Old Jersey Shore was for kids

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Michael The Situation' Sorrentino says the previous seasons of Jersey Shore look like "Sesame Street" in comparison to the current series.

The Italian-American personality is starring in the fourth season of the hit MTV show, which sees him and his castmates take over the streets of Florence, Italy.

Michael says there are shocking moments in store.

"It [makes them] look like Sesame Street," he told MTV, before co-star Jennifer Jwoww' Farley chimed in, "It makes Miami and last Jersey [season] look like nothing."

Michael even compared the TV series to a high-octane movie. The confident star, 30, says it even earned him a new nickname.

"It's like an action-packed drama," he explained. "It was definitely very wild. My new nickname is 'Jean-Claude Van Sitch.' "

Nicole Snooki' Polizzi says the crazy cast members even shocked themselves when they watched the episodes back. The petite star, who is famed for her wild drunken antics, says the bust-ups were shocking.

"All of the fights," she said when asked what the most shocking scenes were. "Even us watching it, we are, 'Oh s**t! Really?' "

Vinny Guadagnino promises the new season has something for everybody. The TV star says the varying scenes in the show cater for a wide audience.

"If you're into physical fights, we got that for you. If you're into sex things, we got that for you," he quipped.
