Michelle Williams is open to a Dawson's Creek reunion, if she can appear in "gauzy, hazy light".
There has been a great deal of interest in the stars of the popular US TV show reprising their roles. Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson have both revealed they would consider shooting new scenes, and Michelle has also expressed enthusiasm.
However, she has pointed out it could prove difficult for her to be involved in the project, since her character is no longer alive.
"I would very happily do a reunion show. I don't know what it would be. My character died in the end. There are certain limitations for me. It's either that I come back as a ghost or I'm shot through a lot of gauzy, hazy light as my 19-year-old self," she said during the press conference for her new movie Oz: The Great and Powerful at Comic-Con.
Michelle shot to worldwide fame playing rebellious teenager Jen Lindley in Dawson's Creek.
The character was killed off in the final episodes of the show after being diagnosed with a fatal heart condition.
Despite carving out a hugely successful career in Hollywood, Michelle hasn't ruled out a Dawson's Creek reunion. She believes it would be a thrill for fans of the show.
"I've always said that I would really love to. And I think independently we've all been saying that so at some point I hope that it does happen," she added. "I hope it's a way to honour the past and what a big deal it was for the four or five of us and what a big deal it was for the people who loved and watched us."
