(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mike Tyson is set to play an alien in Men in Black III.

The boxing legend has revealed he is being lined up to feature in the science fiction comedy. The franchise stars Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith, and the latest instalment, which Mike is set to be cast in, is scheduled to be released in 2012.

The 44-year-old says that he will probably play an alien role in the upcoming film.

Im also lined up to do Men in Black III, he told Entertainment Weekly. Probably an alien or something. I have no idea. But well find out one day.

The former heavyweight champ is not a newcomer to acting. He had a cameo role in the 2009 comedy hit The Hangover and will appear in the hotly-anticipated sequel. The boxer-turned-actor has revealed he likes playing himself in the comedy franchise, as his own persona is big enough to take on the big screen.

Its going to be amazing. I play Mike Tyson and playing Mike Tyson, youre liable to see anything. Thats the privilege I have of being Mike Tyson, he added when asked about the Hangover Part II.

Mike is also forging a television career, with his upcoming Animal Planet show Taking on Tyson. The new six-part series sees the controversial boxer immersing himself in the world of pigeon racing. Mike says the series will show a different side of him.
