(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mila Kunis says her life is not all "shiny stuff".

The gorgeous actress has been subject to intense media attention in recent years, particularly after her split from fellow child actor Macaulay Culkin in January 2011. Mila insists the view some people have of her is exaggerated, adding some aspects of her life are tough.

"People want the shiny stuff that comes with the job, but it can be rough. That's the truth; I'm just the first to say it," she told Elle magazine.

Since splitting from Macaulay, the Ukrainian-born beauty has been linked to her Friends with Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake. She is currently rumoured to be dating Ashton Kutcher, who played her on screen boyfriend in teen sitcom That 70s Show.

Mila claims her life is far less exciting than the one portrayed in the media.

"I don't need this attention to be happy. It's actually a whole industry of rejection," she acknowledged. "It's important that what I do and who I am are not the same thing." (C) Cover Media
