(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mila Kunis says it is impossible to plan your career too far ahead in the movie industry.

The star is currently appearing in Black Swan and first began acting when she was nine. Mila is a strong believer in fate and doesnt like to think too far into the future as her chosen career is so unpredictable. She prefers to read scripts and audition for roles she feels a connection to and then see where that takes her.

"In this industry, it's not like a game of chess, it's more like a game of checkers, as I like to say, she explained in an interview with British newspaper The Independent. So you can't think four or five steps ahead, because it's impossible. I'm in a position where you don't have to work for the sake of working. I'm very lucky in a sense. So I can sit back and wait for a project that I respond to and that I want to do. So it's pretty much all I do. It's just finding a project that you're drawn to."

Mila is best known for her television work which includes That 70s Show and Family Guy. She also appeared in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and she claims that risqu comedy led to her landing a role in the critically acclaimed drama Black Swan. The 27-year-old star who was born in the Ukraine before her parents moved to America is proud of everything she has achieved in her career so far as it has made her the person she is today.

"I stand by every movie that I did. I don't regret any decision I made, she insists. Whatever I did, I always grew, whether as an actress or a person. And in my experience, you never know what movie is going to open what door for you. It's always the ones you least expect.

"Black Swan is the first time where a brilliant movie was handed to me." (C) Cover Media
