(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Miley Cyrus says her "biggest heartbreak" was at the age of 14.

In an upcoming interview for TV show The Conversation, hosted by Amanda de Cadenet, the 19-year-old singer talks candidly about her past relationship woes.

Miley is currently happily dating Australian hunk Liam Hemsworth, but admits her love life wasn't always so smooth-sailing.

"I had my biggest heartbreak when I was 14 even though that sounds crazy, because I was only 14, but that's what love was to me. I was in love with somebody. I was in love with this person who I thought was so perfect and so amazing, so that's all you see, 'The rest of my life is ruined because he doesn't love me back. He doesn't think I'm pretty, then I'm not pretty,'" she explained.

"You've got to keep going."

Miley went on to give advice to her 14-year-old self. The songstress says words passed down from her father still resonate with her today.

"My dad always said it to me, and I never really listened, I would always sweat the small stuff. 'This too shall pass.' That's something that I so needed to remember," she said.
