'Drunk' SRK irks MCA officials at Wankhede

17th May 2012

It was a memorable night for Shah Rukh Khan and his team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) which defeated Mumbai Indians in the anticipated clash at Wankhede Stadium last night.

The Indian Premiere League (IPL) match which didn't start on a great note for SRK's KKR, ended up in their favor adding the much needed glory to their current record. This was also an occasion when KKR rose to the winning ways after facing two back to back trounces. And all these things gave SRK a reason to party hard.

SRK, who was drunk heavily after celebrating the victory of his team, indulged in an ugly brawl with the officials at Wankhede stadium last night.

The actor who was high on spirits was allegedly trying to force his way onto the ground after the match was over, to which the officials protested.  As the 'king' was not allowed to enter, he not only opposed their action, but also verbally abused the officials. This act of the actor irked the officials of Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), who have now registered a police complaint against the actor and decided to ban him for life from entering the premises.

"He misbehaved and abused the MCA security personnel as well as MCA officials, including our president Vilasrao Deshmukh, after the IPL match (between KKR and Mumbai Indians). We have decided to ban him for life from entering the stadium in future," said Savant, who alleged that the actor was in a totally inebriated state.

Tsk Tsk….Too bad SRK! Just when things were going back on track…you did it again!
