Milla Jovovich "only has a few friends."

The 36-year-old Resident Evil: Retribution actress is married to filmmaker Paul W.S. Anderson and the couple share four-year-old daughter Ever Gabo together.

Milla is accustomed to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, but she prefers to spend her free time partaking in less ritzy activities.

"I feel like movie stars don't have many friends at all. They have acquaintances," Milla told British newspaper The Independent.

"I really only have a few friends. My regular life today is reading books, making dolls houses, sewing dolls with my daughter and barbequing."

Milla and Paul, who helmed the Resident Evil movie franchise, spend a lot of time together.

The star enjoys working with her husband both in the home and on set.

"Working with Paul, in particular, there's a lot more pros than cons because we make really fun movies together," she explained.

"It's stressful physically but emotionally we have a good time. We don't have that kind of tension of like, 'Aarrrgghh you've made me like squeeze my soul out during the day and now I have to look at you all night'."
