(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Milla Jovovich is furious about her distribution company "resting on their laurels" with her newest film.

Milla stars as antagonist Milady de Winter in family adventure feature The Three Musketeers. The film officially opens in America today.

Milla is not convinced that the distribution company Summit Entertainment did a good enough promotion job.

"Are Summit' promoting it as a family adventure movie? Or are they resting on their laurels from Twilight n making no effort? Let me know! [sic]" Milla posted on Twitter today.

The actress believes Summit did not put enough effort into marketing the film to American audiences. Milla is frustrated with the lack of attention she feels her movie received from the company.

"I think summit' hve swept 3 Musketeers', a grt family adventure film, under the rug in the US. Shame on them. SHAME ON YOU SUMMIT. [sic]'" she tweeted.

Summit Entertainment is the production company behind The Twilight Saga and Academy Award-winning film The Hurt Locker.

The Three Musketeers is in US theatres now. The film starring Milla and Orlando Bloom acts as the opening feature for this weekend's 24th annual Tokyo International Film Festival. (C) Cover Media
