December 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): DJ Pauly D, who got popular for his appearance in the MTV reality series Jersey Shore, has got lucky to get his own solo project and this has been confirmed by MTV.

Chris Linn from MTV was quoted saying that Pauly D has the qualities of a fun-loving and dependable guy with whom one would love to hang out. However, there is confirmation about the date when the show will premiere.

There is a buzz that a pilot episode of the show has already been shot. It is supposed to have some footage of his recent major DJ gig at Las Vegas and his home state of Rhode Island. In this way, the show will try to focus both on his personal as well as professional life. The deal has been reportedly closed recently and he shot for the pilot episode with 495 Productions in September.

Linn added that audiences are curious to know about Pauly D and his life so they will try to explore various sides in the episodes. The viewers will now get to see the life of the DJ outside the wild party house.

Apart from Pauly, Snooki, The Situation and JWoww were also negotiating for the show
