SRK says that 3D is need of the season; most Hollywood films are now being made in 3D so why not Bollywood have films in this recent technology? Shahrukh says that 3D is quite in demand these days, his children also play video games in 3D and so he also thought of releasing 'Don 2' in 3D. He says, “My long tresses will look fab in 3D.”

Though not all theatres in India are equipped with technology to play a 3D film, lesser prints would be produced in 3D than 2D.
