In the recent times, lots of Tamil movies are being remade in Hindi as the producers and filmmakers feel it's best money-spinning tactics in showbiz. Before few days, it was Salman Khan's 'Wanted' and his upcoming films 'Ready' and 'My Love Story' that are remakes of Tamil movie. 'Kaakha Kaakha' is being remade in Hindi with John Abraham and Genelia D' Souza in lead roles. ' Now, it's Prabhu Solomon's 'Mynaa' that will soon go to Bollywood remake. Prabhu Solomon himself will remake the film in Hindi with newcomers in the lead role. 'Mynaa' released on Diwali has become one of the biggest blockbusters in 2010. With newcomers Viddarth and Amala Paul playing lead roles, the film won incredible laurels for being a different love story. The film was produced by Shalom Productions and was later acquired by Udhayanidhi Stalin under the banner name of Red Giant Movies in collaboration with AGS Entertainments.
