Natalie Portman: Not Keen To Do Typical Chick Flicks

January 20, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Natalie Portman has recently gone on to say that shes not very keen to do films that are considered to be chick flicks. However, her latest upcoming flick with Aston Kutcher titled No Strings Attached is a rom com which can be called a chick flick with a difference. However, the star has never ever picked films of that genre before.

Natalie has always been careful in picking project . However, going by reports in tabloids, Natalie has gone on to state that since girls have always been in fashion in most rom coms where the female always gets married and has to go in for some kind of makeover to befit the typical chick is something which she found quite offensive.

But then she did fall for the role in this No Strings Attached. According to reports, Natalie has stated that her role in the rom com is based on a character that is intelligent and has a rather different perspective on the falling in love head over heels concept. The script writer of the flick Liz Meriwether has given the female character quite a bold and smart outlook which impressed the actress a great deal.

According to reports, Natalie plays a girl who is working, who has her own perception on relationships has a great sense of humor herself and is not just the girlfriend of a great guy with a great sense of humor.

So, what exactly is the role portrayed by the actress in this forth coming flick? Well, for one she plays a woman who is independent economically and has a great career as she plays a doctor. The character she portrays is quite a bold one as she chooses to have a relationship with Aston Kutchers character, a TV script writer for sex only.

The 29-year old star who is soon going to step into mother hood has recently got engaged and is also keen on producing more female centric films through her production house.

Her business partner, Annette Savich has reportedly stated that they are indeed looking for launching female oriented films from a totally different perspective which is not only for women to find husbands for themselves. Theres much more for women in todays times.
