Even though he has been eagerly waiting for the release for his Telugu movie 'Andala Rakshasi', young actor Naveen Chandra has bagged another interesting role in Kollywood.

Titled 'Sivappu', the film will be directed by Sathya Siva, who made an impressive debut in the Tamil cinema with the movie 'Kazhugu'. The movie cast consist of Roopa Manjari, Sathyaraj, Selva and Thambi Ramaiah who play crucial roles in the film.

Here's what the director had to say about the actor, "Naveen Chandra is an energetic upcoming actor. His Telugu movie Andala Rakshasi is going to be a promising film in all aspects and so will Sivappu."

Talking about the film, he said, "The title of the movie is Sivappu; it means love, anger, poverty and death. The story showcases the life of construction labours in southern parts of Tamilnadu."
