The American hip hop artist is known for his athletic body, and is enraged about research suggesting most children in contemporary America dont even get one miles worth of exercise a day.
The artist revealed how when he was a young boy no one could stop him from working out on a regular basis.
When I was younger I ran up and down the block ten miles a day, he told Hip Hop magazine. Its unbelievable that the average child isnt even getting a mile of exercise per day.
The musician has already released a fitness DVD called Celebrity Sweat, which he believes will encourage young people around the globe to get their heart rates up.
Nelly enjoyed the DVD project, and says his biggest preoccupation at the moment is getting Americas children into shape and combating over-eating.
