(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nick Lachey partied in Las Vegas for his bachelor party over the weekend.

The former 98 Degrees singer is set to wed model-and-actress Vanessa Minnillo later this month and decided to celebrate his last days as a single guy by letting loose in the US city.

Nick was accompanied by 30 of his closest friends, including his brother Drew Lachey and Matt Leinart, as he arrived in Las Vegas on Friday. The group enjoyed dinner at TAO before heading to the venue's nightclub and partying into the early hours as they drank champagne and whisky shots. As part of his VIP treatment, Nick was presented with a cake in the shape of a ball and chain inscribed with "Property Of Vanessa" a tribute to Vanessa, who joked she was "about to get a ball and chain" when she celebrated her bachelorette party.

The following day, the group enjoyed themselves at TAO Beach and sprayed champagne all over their fellow revellers.

It has been reported Nick and Vanessa will tie the knot on July 16 and the nuptials will be filmed for a special television show.

Nick who previously starred in MTV show Newlyweds with his ex-wife Jessica Simpson - has defended his decision to share his wedding day with the public.

"We kind of wrestled with that for a while, for obvious reasons," the 37-year-old said. "Having done reality TV in the past, I didn't necessarily want to jump right back into it without having thought it through to great length, and we did.

"It's a one-off special; a chance to kind of have a great experience and a great moment in our lives documented on TV, and also for us, to have a great wedding video at the end of it." (C) Cover Media
