(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nick Lachey says there is no chance he will sing at his wedding.

The 37-year-old is engaged to model Vanessa Minnillo following a courting period of five years. They briefly split last year, but reunited quickly after realising they couldnt bear to be apart.

Although the couple are looking forward to their big day, Nick believes he should refrain from singing at the ceremony. Though he confesses, music is his life, he thinks its important for him to be able to enjoy the happiest day of his life.

Now you're really getting crazy. But that's one moment where I think it's good to step away from it. It's like, you don't want to perform at your own wedding. You know what I mean? You let other people do that. You enjoy the day. So no, I think I'll leave the weddings songs to somebody else, he told E!

Nick also revealed that plans for the extravaganza are progressing, even though a date has yet to be set. With the pair deeply in love, the reality star is adamant that they will not be rushed into a union, but will move at their own pace.

You know what? We haven't put the pressure on ourselves to have it done by a certain time. We're obviously enjoying the process, and it is a busy time of year between pilot season and everything going on. I don't think we feel the pressure to get it done next week, but we're definitely excited about it and we're making headway, he enthused. (C) Cover Media
