(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nick Lachey has emphatically declared that he is not doing a reality show with new wife Vanessa Minnillo.

The 37-year-old singer infamously appeared in an MTV show with his first wife Jessica Simpson, but insists there will not be a Newlyweds Part 2.

Although his July nuptials on Necker Island were captured for a TV special, Nick told Extra TV that it will be the only time cameras will get a close up to his life with his new bride.

"Zero," Nick said of the chance of an at-home series. "Let me squash that right now. There are zero plans for a reality show."

Nick said that they decided to let their fans in on their wedding celebration because "ultimately we felt like it was something we were really proud of and excited about, and something we felt comfortable sharing."

"The thing that appealed to me about it was that there was a clear beginning and end to it. It's not something that goes on and on," he added.

The newlyweds have recently bought a new house in Nick's hometown of Cincinnati and are anxious to start a family together.

"Well, you know it doesn't really take that much time to start a family. I have room for that in my schedule, I think," Nick joked. (C) Cover Media
