A Nicki Minaj Barbie doll will be auctioned off for charity.
The singer, who is well known for her love of the doll has taken her obsession one step further, by being immortalised in plastic.
The doll manufacturer Mattel, have created a one-of-a-kind actual Nicki Minaj Barbie that will be auctioned off for charity.
According to Billboard magazine, the website Charity Buzz will host an online auction on Wednesday as part of the five-day Divine Design event.
Bids will start at $1,000 but are expected to go much higher.
All proceeds will go to Project Angel Food, which provide meals for men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS.
"Barbie is obviously a pop culture icon. She's been in the spotlight for over 50 years, and strikes that chord with girls of all ages in terms of being representative of the times," Barbie spokeswoman Stefani Yocky told Billboard, "And Nicki is a big part of pop culture and also huge within the fashion industry, as well as a big Barbie fan. It's really exciting for us that she's been so generous to allow us to create this one-of-a-kind doll to support such an important cause."
Nicki follows in the footsteps of Janet Jackson, Carol Channing and Rachel Zoe, who have also had custom Barbies made.
