(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicole Richie and Joel Madden hosted a star-studded party to celebrate their daughters third birthday over the weekend.

The couple, who got married last month, chose to mark Harlows special day with a host of their famous friends in Beverly Hills on Saturday. The party took place at the Treehouse Social Club which boasts a caf, play centre and spa.

Guests included Jessica Alba, her husband Cash Warren and their daughter Honor, Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale with their sons Kingston and Zuma. Kourtney Kardashian also attended the bash with her son Mason, as did Ellen Pompeo with her husband and their daughter Stella and Sara Gilbert with her daughter Sawyer.

"It was a fun, casual party. Besides the celebrity kids, Harlow had a few friends from school at the party and she was very excited, a source told People magazine. The kids played outside in the Treehouse and enjoyed art and crafts projects inside. All the moms chatted while the dads bonded and it was a perfect party for both the adults and the kids."

Harlow who turns three on Tuesday was presented with an impressive birthday cake and showered with gifts from the celebrity guests.

Nicole and Joel had arranged for a wide range of healthy snacks to be provided at the party and the newlyweds were spotted laughing and joking as they enjoyed the celebrations. (C) Cover Media
