127 Hours. In the movie James plays climber Aron Ralston, who was forced to amputate part of his arm after he became trapped under a bolder while canyoneering in Utah, America.
Despite acting the out the gory procedure on film, James revealed the sight of blood makes his stomach turn.
"I admit that I get a little queasy, especially when it comes to blood around my arms," James said. "When I go to the doctor for a check-up and they draw blood, I admit, I'm not good at that at all."
However, the 32-year-old managed to hold it together when watching back his intense performance in 127 Hours.
While he coped with the sight of the blood, the injuries he sustained while acting out the role still play on this mind.
"When I watched that scene, I was fine," James told People.com. "A lot of the physicality was real. I was really being bruised, and the frustration and the emotion would arise in an organic way as well." (C) Cover Media
