(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicole Richie is enjoying married life because she knows she can get away with more.

The American star wed her long-term partner Joel Madden in Los Angeles last month. They have daughter Harlow, two, and 15-month-old son Sparrow together, and Nicole loves married life.

The pair have been together for four years, and the star admits she didnt think tying the knot would make much difference to their relationship. It does have some perks she didnt anticipate though, and she is looking forward to testing them out.

It's different because I know I can get away with more, she laughed on American programme The Talk. I haven't tested him yet.

Nicole enjoys being a mother, although it can be tough. She is famously tight-lipped about her family life, and refused to confirm or deny whether she and Joel will seek to expand their brood in the future. The 29-year-old and her 31-year-old spouse are happy as they are at the moment, although Nicole admits having two toddlers does have its disadvantages.

I don't think it's fair to ask someone that's had two back-to-back if they're going to have another one. You never know, she said. I need a nap! (C) Cover Media
