'RAW' passes the Monday litmus test

John Abraham's spy thriller 'RAW' has passed the Monday litmus test with ease. 'Romeo Akbar Walter' which saw the actor portraying three different roles in the movie, opened on a positive note. John has been on a winning streak at the box-office with his past two releases 'Satyameva Jayate' and 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran'. These two movies too focused on our country's achievements.  

Movie critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted movie's earning in the opening week. He tweeted, "#RomeoAkbarWalter Fri 6 cr, Sat 7.70 cr, Sun 9 cr. Total: ₹ 22.70 cr. India biz. #RAW." Following a decent opening, the movie further garners 3 cr on Monday by showing steady growth at the box office. Thus, now the movie collection sums upto 25.7 cr. 

Adding yet another milestone to this flick was the director Robbie Grewal being appreciated by the RAW officers and their families for bringing this story on the celluloid. 

Starring Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff and Sikander Kher alongside John, 'RAW' released in theatres on April 5, 2019.
