(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nikki is reportedly engaged to boyfriend Paul McDonald.

The Twilight actress was showing off what looked like an engagement ring on the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards yesterday and told reporters that she had found Mr. Right in the American Idol contestant.

The couple set tongues wagging when they were spotted shopping for jewellery at the Topanga Music Festival in California last month.

A source close to Nikki and Paul has confirmed that they are indeed engaged.

The pair have enjoyed a whirlwind romance since meeting at the premiere of Red Riding in March, although Paul didn't know who the Twilight star was.

The 26-year-old asked a camera crew on the red carpet if Nikki was "a famous actress or something" after the stunning brunette came up to him to tell him how impressed she was with his performance on American Idol. (C) Cover Media
