Jessie J shocked by fame

6th June 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jessie J feels as if her life has been "pulled from under" her now she's famous.

The British singer released her debut album Who You Are in February and has enjoyed chart success in her native country as well as in America, Australia and Demark.

Jessica wanted to be a musician from a young age but admits feeling unprepared for fame. Her new lifestyle is sometimes overwhelming, but she's trying hard to find ways to cope.

"It's mad. I can't be in six countries at once. I can't tweet back to 4,000 people a day. I hardly see my family," she explained.

"My whole life has been pulled from under me, but that's not a bad thing I just have to learn how to deal with it."

As well as success with her own album, Jessie has penned songs for Miley Cyrus and Chris Brown. She's proud her music speaks to so many people and says it's her fans which keep her going.

"There's something telling me this isn't going to be a come-and-go story. My fans are going to stick around!" she laughed to Top of the Pops magazine. (C) Cover Media
