10th October 2011

'Nippu', the forthcoming film of Ravi Teja, is being shot very quickly across the city and in all likelihood, will come as a Sankranti gift.

Talking to journalists, producer Y.V.S. Chowdhary said, "As you are aware both Ravi Teja and director Gunashekar were my roommates during our struggle period and we have been planning to do a movie together for a long time. Finally, I am producing a film with them. We have decided to release the movie on Sankranti."

Chowdhary said he was very happy to be making the film with his friends. "We were together when we were struggling hard for a foothold in the industry. This emotional bond brought us together and the same commitment will follow through the film", he stated.

When asked about Rey, his directorial venture, he said the film would hit the screens in the summer of 2012.Rey, starring Sai Dharam Tej (nephew of Chiranjeevi), was shot in Malaysia, before the cast and crew went to the US.

"Sai hurt himself while shooting in Las Vegas, so we came back to India. We are planning to go to the US again to film the remaining portions", the producer-director said.
