It hasn't been long when Sanjay Dutt openly expressed his unwillingness on letting his daughter Trishala enter the big bad world of Bollywood. He stated that it's a family rule that no female from Dutt clan will enter the film industry and he would like Trishala to continue with the legacy.
However, the latest addition to the list of stars not wanting their kids to enter films, is retro actress Sridevi. The actress who herself has been one of the most successful stars has exclaimed that she wouldn’t want her daughter Jahnavi to become an actor. "I think people presume that because she is my daughter she has to become an actor. I feel sad when people think I'm an aggressive mother pushing her daughter to join films," said Sridevi.
She added that she wants both her daughters to complete their education first, "I don't want her to do anything at this point besides focusing on her studies. Jahnavi is just 15 and doing well in school. I'm happy with that. She's too young to do films. I want both my daughters to get good education. I missed out on it as I was working from a very early age,” added the diva.
She further added that instead of getting her into films, she would like to get her hitched when the right time comes, "I don’t want her to become an actor. Mera bas chale toh I would get her married soon," chuckles Sridevi.
