Even though actress Karisma Kapoor tasted success on her professional front, unfortunately it was not the same on her personal front too.

The actress has had a troubled relationship with her husband Sanjay Kapur since she got hitched. As per the reports the couple has filed for divorce on a mutual consent in the family court in Mumbai.

As per the law every couple is given six months to reconsider their decision. However in their case there is no sign of reconciliation so far.

Karisma's lawyer, Kranti Sathe says, "So far, there are no signs of reconciliation. At the end of six months if the agreements are complied with, the parties will come before the court for the final decree."

Even though the families are hoping for their patch up, it seems difficult this time. The couple, who had initially parted their ways few years back, got back together in 2011.

Later in 2014, the couple got into a heated argument and decided to file for divorce.
