Olivia Wilde: Oprah is so fun

5th August 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Olivia Wilde cannot decide whether she wants to switch lives with Oprah Winfrey or her gardener because they both look like they always have a "great time".

The 27-year-old star is currently promoting her new movie The Change-Up where two long-term friends magically switch bodies and lives. When questioned about her life-switching preference, Olivia found it a challenge to choose just one person.

"I go between Oprah [Winfrey[ and Gayle [King] because I can't tell who has more fun," Olivia told Fox News. "But if it was a non-celebrity, definitely my gardener. She has a great time. She always seems so happy."

Olivia is generally happy these days too. If she had the option, however, there would be certain things she would like to change about her life.

"I would clone myself so that I could do more things, and I'd add 12 hours to each day," said Olivia.

In terms of professional direction, Olivia is really enthusiastic about her future, especially behind the camera. Although she is an accomplished actress Olivia also likes to spread her talents to the directorial and production arenas.

"I just directed for the first time, that's a role I've wanted to play, and I loved it. I directed a short. It's a comedy, and I just had a blast such a thrill," said Olivia. "And I have a documentary that I produced called Sun City Picture House, which is really great. It's about building a movie theatre in a refugee camp in Haiti. I love stepping behind the camera and being able to produce or direct. And those were two projects that were very fun. I'm very happy. I feel very proud of what I've learned thus far in my career and how I'm able to swing it around and start developing more things."

With all of her fervour for directing and producing, Olivia still finds time to pursue her primary passion, acting. Fans will not have to worry about her face not appearing on the silver screen in the future.

"I'll keep acting," Wilde added. "I'm too much of a ham to stay away."

Her films Cowboys & Aliens and The Change-Up are in US theatres now. (C) Cover Media
