He was at his Political Worst yet again when in a free whirling chat with media, he slammed the scribes for fidgeting too much with the personal lives of stars.
Ever since the news of his sepration from wife
Kalki Koechlin surfaced, the media has gone berserk.
From contemplating various reasons behind the separation to blaming others for the marriage's failure, the paparazzi have done it all. And it is this factor that has irked Anurag to the core.
"Now my angst is with the media. I feel there is such desperation for news bytes that everything and anything is becoming news and, sometimes, I find myself at the receiving end of it," he said.

"For a long time, I kept ignoring stories about my personal life but when you start writing it off, you land up creating it. At first both Huma and Kalki laughed it off. But again Huma was dragged into it to the extent that she being a friend of the both of us, one day actually broke down. Kalki tweeted, I gave a statement but, of course, it didn't help. Why create stories when we have given a statement that Kalki and I have separated?!," questions Anurag in an obvious upset tone.
Now that Anurag has expressed his anger, hopefully the media gives the couple the much needed privacy in their personal life.
