The encounter specialist BB Ashok Kumar from Bengaluru, had already penned the scripts for 'Deadly' and its sequel 'Deadly-2'. Starring Aditya, both the films did good business at box-office. The films were directed by Ravi Srivatsa.

It seems Ravi Srivatsa is drawing lot of inspiration from the real life cop, for his reel life hero on-screen. After hard-hitting films, the director is yet to unravel a soft subject, that has come from the super cop BB Ashok Kumar. The real life cop has turned into a story writer for films. Based on the findings of BB Ashok Kumar, the work on the film has already begun. The film is based on one of the cases dealt by BB Ashok Kumar and the film is titled 'Myna' by the director.

Nagashekar is donning the role of the hero in the film 'Myna' and Meghana Raj is the heroine of the film.
