December 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The run-up to the Oscar 2011 is drawing to a close as the Kodak Theater in Hollywood gets set to decorate the stage to honor the winners of this years celebrities and films on the 27th of February next year. And while the venue is gearing up, so are the authorities of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences who are rounding up on the probable winners in each category of film making.
According to the latest reports circulating in the media, the nominations for the films with the best visual effects have been named. However, the Oscar authorities have announced that these are the nominations for the semifinal stage and there will be a shorter list of seven films which will be announced in the weeks to follow. Some of the 15 films which have found a pride of place in the nominations for the most visually rich film are Alice In Wonderland, Inception, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Trader, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, Clash of the Titans, Tron: Legacy and Iron Man 2 among others.
This is the 83rd version of the Annual Academy Awards to be held in the United States next year. Since there were a host of commercially successful and critically acclaimed films this year, the viewers are waiting in anticipation for the winners to be announced early next year. Anne Hathaway and James Franco will play hosts of Oscar 2011.
