The director of high repute P Vasu, doesn't seem to get over his 'A'craze. He has named his earlier two films in Kannada, bumper hits 'Aptha Mithra'and 'Aptha Rakshaka'(both starring the late Dr. Vishnuvardhana). Now, for the Upendra starrer he has picked the title starting with 'A'. It's called 'Arakshaka'and the shooting of the film is on in the beautiful locales of Mysore.

'Arakshaka'means police and in Kannada it means 'That Protector'. P Vasu has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues. Suresh Urs is the editor. Different Danny is doing the stunts and Venu is the art director. PKH Doss is the cameraman.

'Arakshaka'is produced by Aptha Rakshaka, producer Krishna Prajwal is launched under Udaya Ravi Films banner. Gurukiran has composed five songs, out of which two will be shot abroad.

After the Mysore shoot, the unit of this film will leave for Kerala and abroad. Ragini, Sada, Seetha, Sayyaji Shindhe and others are in the cast.

People have high expectations from this film starting with the letter 'A'.
