August 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The team of Zee TV's popular show 'Pavitra Rishta' joins NDTV Imagine's 'Big Money' with host R. Madhavan. The episode will see Madhavan in traditional Indian clothes in the Independence Day special show.

Archana and Manav will unite on 'Big Money' even though they are still staying separate on 'Pavitra Rishta'. However, this temporary union is only for playing the game show and earning some good amount of money. Again, they are not earning the money for themselves but for some charitable work. The money earned on the show will go to the NGO 'Voice'.

Ankita Lokhande a.k.a Archana will be seen with her on-screen mother Savita Prabhune a.k.a Sulochana. Sushant Singh Rajput a.k.a Manav will appear with his on-screen mother Usha Nadkarni a.k.a Savita.

The veteran actress Usha stole the limelight of the show with her witty repartees. Actor Madhavan also reminded the actress about their TV show together 'Saaya', which was aired on Sony TV in the late 1990s.

Being asked about her involvement with the on-screen character, Usha a.k.a Savita jokingly said, "After shoot, when I go home, I keep saying the lines like 'Bhagwan par bharosa rakho...sab thik ho jayega' to my real life daughter like I say to my on-screen daughter Vandita".

Ankita said that during her school days, she used to attend the Independence Day parade only to get the ladoos, which were distributed after the event.

Sushant seemed very serious when he said that people should have faith in 'unity in diversity' and should do something for the country.

The 'Pavitra Rishta' earned a good amount and donated it to the NGO.
