December 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Bengali film and television actress Payel Sarkar does not believe in proving herself anymore and that is why she does not want to react to the rumors about her so called special relationship with Bengali film director Raj Chakraborty. Having made a mark in Mumbai and Bengali television, Payel Sarkar is making quite a place for herself in the Bengali film industry, especially after her win of the best actress award for her performance in Le Chakka.

Directed by rumored boyfriend Raj Chakraborty, Le Chakka brought home an award not only for Payel Sarkar but also many other members of the cast and crew of the 2010 Bengali release. The actress says that she was pleasantly surprised and extremely happy after her name was announced as the winner of the best actress award because this was also her first nomination in the best actress category. And when we remind her about Raj Chakraborty, her director in Le Chakka, Payel Sarkar cannot stop praising his contribution towards her success, but also makes it clear that she does not share any romantic relationship with the director. In fact Payel Sarkar is still in search of Mr. Perfect, the actress mother too enthusiastically helping her along!

Though her work has received much praise, Payel Sarkar has only one film in hand at present. The reason behind this is the fact that the actress does not want to rush and take any impulsive decision regarding the films that she will be a part of. After Le Chakka and the commercially successful Prem Amar, Payel Sarkar wants to be a part of really good projects.
