(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Pharrell Williams feels sorry for women being bombarded with images of "Spanx and Bally Fitness".

The 38-year-old rapper is unveiling a new vodka-based liqueur called Qream with a Q, which he has made in collaboration with prestigious alcohol band Diageo.

The indulgent beverage comes in two flavours, strawberry and peach, and Pharrell felt it was important to offer women something luxurious rather than health-obsessed.

"I thought the market place was lacking in drinks for females that make them comfy about indulging. Every time you look at the television, it is all Spanx and Bally Fitness.

"When I believe of the women I'm aiming for, I believe of Sarah Jessica Parker... a confident girl that's in the know, from the shoes to the news," he explained to Elle.

The music star is famed for his success not only as an artist but also a producer, jewellery designer and now drink creator. When it was suggested he is similar to other multi-talented celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow or James Franco, Pharrell was flattered.

"Properly, I think Gwyneth is hot, but I also feel James is talented. So either one is a compliment," he gushed.

The rapper also took the time to discuss fellow hip-hop star Kanye West's latest foray into fashion. Kanye is currently planning to launch a debut womenswear collection at New York Fashion Week in September, and Pharrell has high hopes for the line.

"It's going to be great. I mean, he has some excellent taste so I expect nothing less than one thing wonderful from him," he beamed. (C) Cover Media
