Pink has percussionist daughter

19th July 2012

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Pink thinks her daughter will grow up to be a "violent percussionist" after displaying talent with a certain instrument.

The doting mother claims Willow is advanced for her young age and is already showing signs that she is musically gifted.

Despite being just over a year old, pop singer Pink believes her daughter has a special talent for playing one instrument in particular - and couldn't wait to include her on new album The Truth About Love.

"She's actually quite talented for a 13-month-old! She plays bells on How Come You're Not Here, and she plays bass on a song called Timebomb. There was a basket of sh*t, and she came over and pulled out the bells and started banging on them, and I was like, 'Record it!' And then she went up to the bass guitar on Timebomb and started plucking away." Pink told MTV.com.

"She's actually pretty good! She's better on bass than I am! She plays piano, she bangs sh*t, she's either going to be violent or a percussionist ... or a violent percussionist."

Pink's newest musical offering focuses on love. The songstress says her recording habits have changed more so than her songwriting style since she became a mother.

"Being a mama, I don't really feel like it's changed my songwriting, other than the fact that now I do it Monday through Friday from 1pm to 10pm, as opposed to every day until 4am," she admitted.

"Lyrically, I'm more aware of my cursing, but I haven't changed it yet! I'm working on it though." (C) Cover Media
