(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Pink has joked that her newborn daughter Willow Sage is "borderline narcoleptic".

The 31-year-old songstress gave birth to her and husband Carey Hart's first child together earlier this month, with the pair posing for an adorable family portrait on June 9 which saw the little girl fast asleep in her mother's arms as Carey cradled them both.

Pink was impressed with the lack of tears from Willow on set, although joked her ease may have been linked to the fact she was snoozing.

"Willow is a pro!" she told People. "Or else she is borderline narcoleptic like her daddy she slept the whole time."

Pink knows it's a clich to gush about the vast impact parenthood has on a person, although she can't stop herself from doing so. The star and husband Carey were famed for their wild partying before she became pregnant, although she's fully embracing her new clean-living lifestyle.

"You hear people say it all the time, how life changes so drastically. But you can't possibly grasp how beautiful that is until you have your child," she smiled. (C) Cover Media
