The actress was sipping tea by the window of her Lokhandwala residence when the glass from the pane collapsed, hurting her left leg badly.
Her domestic help noticed this and Pooja was immediately rushed to the hospital. The actress is fine now but cannot get back to the movies for four months as she cannot walk and is bedridden.
This happened at the end of 2013 and so she had to bring in her New Year on an unfortunate note.
