More than a choreographer and actor, Prabhu Deva is popular these days as a director. Not just in Tollywood and Kollywood where he helmed movies such as 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddatana' and 'Pokkiri' respectively, he is well known in Bollywood too as a filmmaker, thanks to the movie 'Wanted' starring Salman Khan.
The actor-choreographer-director, who is now waiting for the release of his new directorial venture 'Rowdy Rathore', which has Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles, says he still considers himself as a newcomer in Bollywood.
'I am a newcomer in Bollywood. Rowdy Rathore is my second film in Hindi. But every time I work with an actor, it becomes the first time for me,' said Prabhu Deva.
On the film, he said, 'It is a complete commercial entertainer and I am hopeful that it will be liked by one and all. My thanks to Akshay and Sonakshi for their cooperation'. 'Rowdy Rathore' is a remake of the Telugu hit 'Vikramarkudu'.
