Lately it was heard, that Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be playing the female lead for Prabhu Deva's next directorial venture in Bollywood. But the actor-choreographer and film-maker has confirmed that Shruti Haasan will play the lead in his next project.

"Yes, Shruti will be playing the female lead in my next Bollywood film. It will be produced by entertainment giant TIPS." said Prabhu Deva, who is still enjoying the success of his movie 'Rowdy Rathore' starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.

Prabhu's next venture is expected to be the remake of his yesteryear Telugu hit 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana', which had Siddharth and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles.

TIPS fame Kumar Taurani's son Krish will play the male lead in the movie, which is expected to hit the floors soon.

Currently, Shruti has been roped in to play the lead opposite Ravi Teja in an upcoming film.
