Finally, Prakashraj has been made the villain of Karthi Sivakumar in his upcoming film Saguni, which is taking shape fast. Initially it was Salim Ghouse who was in the cast, but he has now been replaced by Prakashraj.

'Director Shankar Dayal felt that Prakashraj would be more apt to the role than anyone else. So he replaced Salim Ghouse. Some important portions of the movie are being reshot in Hyderabad,' say sources.

Produced by K E Gnanavelraja of Studio Green, Saguni, a political thriller, is being simultaneously made in Telugu as Shakuni. Pranitha is the heroine, while the rest of the cast include Santhanam, Nasser, Roja, Radhika Sarath Kumar and Mumtaz.

Plans are on to release the movie by May and to hold an audio launch function before that. 'Saguni has taken shape as a racy entertainer with loads of comedy. The duo of Karthi and Sanathanam rocked big time after Siruthai,' add sources.
