December 8, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Preetika Rao, Bollywood actress Amrita Raos sister has her own fan base in Kollywood, thanks to her debut Tamil venture Chikku Bukku. But she is apparently more popular than her elder sister in spite of the fact that she has done only one film till date! While this may sound unbelievable, ask those who are hooked on Facebook. In a statement to the media, Preetika Rao confirms that she had created an account on the social networking site for the purpose of promoting her debut Tamil film prior to its release. Little did the model turned actress expect that she would get such a large number of responses.

According to reports in the media, Preetika Rao has been well received in the Tamil film industry. She has impressed with her acting skills in Chikku Bukku and Tamilians across the world cannot get enough of the new actress. And therefore they have taken the opportunity given to them by Facebook to interact with the newbie. While sister Amrita Rao is losing ground in Bollywood, Preetika Rao is gaining some in Kollywood. Does that mean that she will never enter the Bollywood film world? Preetika shoots that she is ready to work in any film industry but will definitely remain indebted to Kollywood for giving her the first break of her career.

Preetika Rao has not been offered any film even after the super success of her debut venture Chikku Bukku. The actress said in a statement to the media that she is in talks with several production houses in Kollywood and Tollywood but is taking each step at a time. We hope that her step on Bollywood also comes soon!
