Prerna Arora of KriArj Entertainment had applied for a Bail. Plea is in the court and following the matter, Prerna is been booked under sections 420 (cheating) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code. Arrested by the EOW (Economic Offences Wing) of Crime Branch, Mumbai police on Monday. She even issued a statement on 9th December, where she said that there was no veracity in the complainant's claims and was being maligned by Vashu Bhagnani's company Pooja Entertainment.

The filmmaker was asked to submit the copy of her passport and pancard while held in custody. Filmmaker Bhagnani had filed the case against Prerna for unsettled dues which had the situation serious for the female producer. 

Speaking about the matter Prerna said, "Mr Bhagnani and his company have attracted orders which are available in the public domain from the court stating that they have attempted fraud and their pleas have been rejected time and again."

Now, the known producer is in police custody and further hearing is on 15th December. On the work front, Prerna Arora had bankrolled Bollywood films like 'Rustom', 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha', 'PadMan' and 'Pari'.
