The organizers of Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood claim it to be one of the largest Halloween celebrations in the world. Thousands of people participated in the celebration.

The festival started at 6pm and the Carnival March started at 7 p.m. at Santa Monica and La Cienega boulevards. Prince Poppycock became the honorary Mayor of West Hollywood Halloween Carnival 2010. The event is celebrated as a yearly tradition. It is celebrated since generations and thousands of people gather to take part in it.

Prince Poppycock was the special guest, who received one of the warmest welcomes known in Southern California.

As per the organizers, the largest Time Warp dance can make it to the Guinness World Record.

West Hollywood John Heilman was quoted saying in a statement that the Halloween Carnaval entertainment of this year has been diverse and unique as the city itself.
